Description
My contest entry called "Why".
This wasn't mentioned in the story, but according to my calculations, Sasori joined the Akatsuki before Yahiko was killed. So after he left his village he was brought to the Akatsuki by Konan (yep, she defeated him, cuz stubborn shorty didn't want to join :3 ). Here Yahiko greets him and tells that there is other way which he may find himself and new purposes of his art. We all know Yahiko as high-minded and rather chatismatic person. He convinced Sasori so he followed his ideas. He met there other orphans like himself, fighting for peace. Yahiko and Sasori became very close friends. Till Akatsuki was reborned.
But that's other story.
This pic won me a fist place in the contest! And I'm happy. Here's a quote comment I'd like to post here.
"I love how this artist has made up their own little story to when and how Sasori become a member of Akatsuki. Sasori is already an interesting character and I’m sure we are many who would have loved to see how Sasori become a member of Akatsuki. An interesting entry with an even more interesting idea behind it."

I feel that her interpretation of Sakura's love for Sasuke is very clear in the artwork. I like how she drew Sakura with the kunai because it shows that she is willing to sacrifice her love if it meant it could stop him from continuing to err. ... I really love all of the thought that was put into this piece. The choices of picking pre-Shippuden Sakura and Shippuden Sasuke really enhance what you were trying to convey along with the text surrounding the figures. ...
